No Nepalis in distress due to West Asia conflict: Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that no Nepali citizens are currently in distress due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia.

Speaking at a press conference organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, spokesperson Lok Bahadur Chhetri said, 'Nepal is closely monitoring the ongoing conflict in West Asia; so far, no Nepalis are in transit or facing any difficulties.'

He added, 'Many flights have taken place, which has addressed the problem to a great extent. The embassies in those countries are still collecting details of Nepalis, and since they are in contact, we are prepared to provide assistance and coordination as soon as any difficulty arises.'
