Prime Minister Balendra Shah Assumes Direct Control of Ministry of Labour

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah has dismissed Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Deepak Shah and has taken over the responsibilities of the ministry himself. The Office of the President issued a statement on Thursday afternoon confirming that the Prime Minister has retained the portfolio of the Ministry of Labour.

Prime Minister Shah has kept the responsibilities of the remaining ministers unchanged. Following the dismissal of Labour Minister Shah, the Council of Ministers, which was formed on the 13th, now consists of 14 members.

This was mentioned in the statement issued by the Office of the President regarding the reallocation of duties among the members of the Council of Ministers.
