Man arrested in Dhading for alleged rape of 50-year-old woman

Dhading. A young man has been arrested in Dhading on charges of raping a 50-year-old woman. 28-year-old Rabi Pokharel, a resident of Galchhi Rural Municipality-3, Chhatintar, was taken into custody by police on Wednesday afternoon.

Following reports and a formal complaint regarding the alleged rape, a police team from the Area Police Office, Gajuri, was deployed. Acting on the victim's complaint, police immediately initiated action and arrested the suspect from Chhatintar.

Legal proceedings have been initiated against Pokharel under rape charges. The District Police Office, Dhading, stated that further evidence collection and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
