Hari Prasad Aryal Announces Candidacy for FNCCI Executive Member

Butwal. Hari Prasad Aryal, President of the Butwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rupandehi, has announced his candidacy for the position of Executive Member (Open Category) in the 60th Annual General Meeting and Convention of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).

Aryal has urged the presidents and chief representatives of district and municipal chambers of commerce across the country to vote for him. He has expressed his commitment to working on various plans to strengthen the industrial and trade sectors if elected as an executive member of the federation.

According to him, leadership development programs will be conducted by forming separate groups for A, B, and C class district and municipal chambers of commerce. He also stated that there is a plan to conduct orientation programs on cross-border trade, along with basic information regarding taxes, revenue, customs, industry, and commerce.

Similarly, he mentioned that he would streamline the secretariats of district and municipal chambers of commerce and create an environment to foster debate on economic agendas and the development of industry and trade-friendly infrastructure at the local level.

Aryal also noted his goal to collaborate with local governments to reduce the cost of local production, facilitate market promotion, and create employment through industries based on natural resources.

Furthermore, he has proposed plans to enhance the effectiveness of executive members representing districts and municipalities under the federation by assigning thematic responsibilities, increasing capacity building, and improving coordination between associations. He was officially recommended as a candidate by the Butwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Emphasizing his commitment to working in the interest of business owners, Aryal has requested support and votes from all representatives. The federation's convention is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on Chaitra 29 and 30.
