Home Minister Gurung inspects flood-prone Roshi River area

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung conducted an on-site inspection of the Roshi River in Kavre on Tuesday. Minister Gurung visited the area for a direct assessment following persistent complaints from locals regarding the problems they face due to annual monsoon flooding.

During the inspection, Minister Gurung assessed the condition of the flood-affected areas and reviewed the status of settlements and infrastructure at high risk.

He is expected to issue directives to relevant agencies regarding necessary preparations, planning, and coordination to mitigate potential risks before the onset of the monsoon.
