RSP Lawmaker Parajuli Calls for Integrity in New House of Representatives

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party lawmaker Ganesh Parajuli has stated that the new House of Representatives must create an environment where no one dares to 'tamper' with legislative processes.

During Monday's session of the House of Representatives, lawmaker Parajuli remarked that the bitter reality of the previous parliament, which required the formation of an investigation committee due to tampering during lawmaking, must not be repeated.

He emphasized the need to create an environment where all issues raised by lawmakers are addressed, pre-budget discussions are held in a timely manner, and the concerns raised by members are incorporated into the budget.

He further stated that an environment should be established where lawmakers do not have to visit ministers' homes to ensure their development plans are fulfilled.
