Janak Education Materials Center Distributes Over 300,000 Textbooks in Sudurpashchim

Kailali. The Janak Education Materials Center Limited, Provincial Office Dhangadhi, has distributed 301,000 textbooks across Sudurpashchim province so far.

Provincial Office Chief Nirmal Kumar Yadav stated that the center has distributed books through local retailers in various districts for the upcoming 2083 academic session. He noted that the book sales have generated a turnover of Rs 37.47 million.

Office Chief Yadav mentioned that textbooks have already been transported to the hilly districts of Bajura, Darchula, Achham, and Bajhang, with plans to deliver books to all nine districts of the province by Chaitra 30. The center began its distribution process on Chaitra 16.

“We are currently transporting books to remote areas. We will ensure textbooks reach all districts before the academic session begins,” he said. “There is no shortage of textbooks. They will reach everywhere on time, and work is progressing accordingly.”

According to Office Chief Yadav, the center aims to distribute 1.65 million textbooks across the province for the upcoming academic session. Janak Education handles the distribution of textbooks for grades 3 and 5, as well as grades 6 through 12.

In the current academic session, the center reported selling 1,629,263 textbooks for grades 3 to 12 in the province, recording a total turnover of Rs 219,373,494.
