Two middlemen arrested for overcharging service seekers at Rupandehi Survey Office

Rupandehi. Rupandehi police have taken two individuals into custody today for allegedly overcharging service seekers at the Survey Office in Bhairahawa under the pretext of facilitating their work.

According to the office's Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Krishna Kumar Chand, a team deployed from the District Police Office apprehended the individuals who were acting as middlemen, charging extra fees to service seekers at the Survey Office located in Gallamandi, Siddharthanagar Municipality-6, by promising to expedite their tasks.

The police identified the arrested middlemen as 32-year-old Shivnarayan Kurmi of Omsatiya Rural Municipality-3 and 30-year-old Surendra Mallah of Rohini Rural Municipality-3, Rupandehi.
