RSP Vice-Chair DP Aryal Files Nomination for Speaker

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Vice-Chair DP Aryal has filed his nomination for the post of Speaker. He reached Singha Durbar on Friday to register his candidacy. 

Party Chair and House of Representatives member Rabi Lamichhane is the proposer, while Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, and Minister of Physical Infrastructure Sunil Lamsal are the seconders.

With the Rastriya Swatantra Party holding 182 seats in the 275-member House of Representatives, Aryal's election as Speaker is certain. The election for the Speaker is scheduled for Sunday.
