Singer Alina Chauhan Demands Investigation into Rape Allegations Against Sagar Lamsal 'Bale'

Kathmandu. Singer Alina Chauhan has demanded a thorough investigation into the rape allegations leveled against artist Sagar Lamsal 'Bale'.

She expressed her views through a post on social media.

She wrote, 'Please everyone, first look clearly at the name being accused. Let the truth come out through an investigation. If guilty, there should be strict action; if innocent, justice should be served.'

In another post, she stated that it takes great courage to speak out on issues like rape. Supporting the victim, she said, 'If someone is sharing their pain, listen; if you cannot listen, stay silent. But do not pour your rapist mindset into the comments. It takes great courage to raise a voice on issues like domestic violence and rape.'

She further wrote, 'Because of your mindset, many cannot muster the courage to speak, and even if they do, they are forced to regret it later. When will the mindset of blaming the victim end?'
