CPN-UML granted floor time during inaugural session of new House of Representatives

Kathmandu. The CPN-UML has been granted the opportunity to speak during the first meeting of the new House of Representatives. At the start of the session, CPN-UML lawmakers stood from their seats to request time to speak, prompting the senior-most member presiding over the session, Arjun Narsingh KC, to grant floor time to CPN-UML lawmaker Guru Baral.

Following this, he expressed strong objection to the government's arrest of CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli and Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak. The CPN-UML is the third-largest party in the House of Representatives.
