Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' to skip address at inaugural House of Representatives session

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', will not address the first meeting of the House of Representatives following the elections today.

Central office secretary Govinda Acharya informed that leader Barshaman Pun will address the session on behalf of the party. Acharya stated that since the first day's meeting is limited to offering greetings, Pun will represent the party.

'Past parliamentary practice allows a former Prime Minister to speak at any time. Since today's meeting is scheduled only for greetings, Barshaman Pun will address the session on behalf of the party,' he told RatoPati.
