Sunsari Police Detain 17 Middlemen from Government Offices

Sunsari. The District Police Office has taken 17 middlemen into custody today from two government offices here.

Superintendent of Police Keshav Thebe stated that the individuals were detained from the District Land Revenue Office in Inaruwa, the Sunsari district headquarters, and the Transport Management Office in Itahari, following reports of them harassing service seekers.

He informed that 13 individuals were apprehended from the Land Revenue Office premises for acting as middlemen under the pretext of expediting services, while four others were detained from the Transport Office.

The District Police Office identified those arrested from the Land Revenue Office as 28-year-old Eugene Ghimire of Ramdhuni Municipality-9, 56-year-old Dhannarayan Shrestha of Ramdhuni-5, 27-year-old Archana Acharya of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-5, 50-year-old Deepak Kumar Dahal of Itahari-5, and 32-year-old Aayusha Mote of Inaruwa-3.

Similarly, Superintendent of Police Thebe stated that the others detained include 24-year-old Milan Mehta of Inaruwa-2, 52-year-old Meghraj Phuyal of Inaruwa-6, 40-year-old Birendra Pandit of Inaruwa-8, 35-year-old Asip Acharya of Inaruwa-2, 49-year-old Roshan BK of Inaruwa-6, 32-year-old Promosh Kumar Singh of Inaruwa-1, 25-year-old Ekrar Alam Mansuri of Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality-5, and 26-year-old Sartaj Alam Mansuri of Bhokraha Narsingh-1.

Additionally, 27-year-old Suman Ojha of Itahari-4, 46-year-old Sher Bahadur Karki of Itahari-10, 50-year-old Yogendra Ojha of Itahari-4, and 40-year-old Surya Thapa of Itahari-4 were detained from the Transport Office.
