Sudurpashchim Provincial Government Announces New Appointments and Policy Reforms

Dhangadhi. The Sudurpashchim provincial government has appointed new leadership for two district hospitals. The latest cabinet meeting decided to appoint new chairpersons for the Doti and Achham District Hospitals.

According to the government's decision, Bharat Bohara from Doti has been appointed as the chairperson of Doti District Hospital, and Leelaraj KC from Achham has been appointed as the chairperson of Achham District Hospital. Additionally, Leela Bohara and Kashiram Bohara from Kanchanpur, and Purnabahadur Ter from Baitadi, have been nominated as members of the Provincial Sports Council.

The meeting also made significant decisions regarding administrative and legal reforms. The schedule of the Act Concerning Remuneration and Facilities for Officials of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, 2075, has been amended, and the Sudurpashchim Province Local Service Formation and Operation Regulations have been approved. Furthermore, Schedule 2 of the Act Concerning Remuneration for Provincial Assembly Officials and Members has also been amended.

Addressing infrastructure and social security, the government decided to transfer conditional grants for the construction of a temporary police station building in Himali Rural Municipality, Bajura. The meeting also approved the Sudurpashchim Province Vehicle Purchase and Usage Guidelines, provisions regarding financial transfers, and the 'Sudurpashchim People's Housing Program Procedure'.
