13 Injured in Bus-Tanker Collision on Narayangadh-Mugling Road

Chitwan. Thirteen passengers were injured in a road accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon at Dasdhunga, along the Narayangadh-Mugling road section in Chitwan. The accident took place when a bus (Na 6 Kha 7036) traveling from Birgunj to Kathmandu collided with a stationary oil tanker (Na 4 Kha 2503) parked on the roadside. 

The collision occurred at 3:40 PM in Dasdhunga, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29, leaving passengers on the bus injured. Immediately following the incident, a police team from the Jugedi Area Police Office, with the assistance of locals, rescued the injured. 

All injured individuals have been taken to the National City Hospital in Bharatpur for treatment. The victims are residents of Chitwan and Makwanpur. Police stated that among the 13 people undergoing treatment, two are in critical condition, while the others are in normal to moderate condition.

The Area Police Office, Mugling, reported that both the bus and tanker drivers fled the scene after the accident, and a search operation is underway. Although both vehicles remain at the site, traffic flow on the road has been maintained.
