National Assembly to Initiate Election Process for Vice-Chair and Committee Chairs

Kathmandu. The National Assembly is set to initiate the election process for the Vice-Chair of the Assembly and the Chairs of its committees during the session commencing tomorrow. A meeting of the Assembly's Business Advisory Committee, held at Singha Durbar under the chairmanship of Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal, reached a consensus to proceed with the selection process for the Vice-Chair and the committee chairs.

Furthermore, the meeting also discussed matters including the distribution of newly elected members into various committees, according to Chair Dahal's secretariat. 

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, participated in the meeting as a representative of the government.
