CPN (UML) Supporter Amisha Parajuli Files Complaint with Cyber Bureau Over Online Harassment

Kathmandu. Amisha Parajuli, a Gen-Z supporter of the CPN (UML), has filed a complaint at the Nepal Police Cyber Bureau in Bhotahity against individuals for character assassination on social media. Parajuli sought legal action after facing inhumane abuse and rape threats following her public statement opposing the arrest of party chairman KP Sharma Oli.

She stated that she has filed a collective complaint against all those who misused her videos, engaged in verbal abuse, and issued rape threats. She reported that she has been receiving such threats and abuse through social media platforms.

She alleged that she is being targeted with negative reactions despite not having done or said anything wrong. She said, 'We have filed a complaint at the Cyber Bureau against everyone who misused the video of my statement, engaged in verbal abuse in the comment sections, and issued rape threats. My family has been supportive of me in this situation. My family members are aware that I have not done or said anything wrong, which is why I have their full support.'

Amisha had expressed her views calling the arrest of Oli unconstitutional. Since then, she has been subjected to inhumane verbal abuse and cyberbullying.
