Film 'Ek Mutthi Badal' Releases First Song 'Rail Ghumyo Ghumti'

Kathmandu. The film 'Ek Mutthi Badal', scheduled for release on Jestha 1, has unveiled its first song, 'Rail Ghumyo Ghumti'. The song features performances by Aanchal Sharma, Nisha Sharma, and Usha Rajak.

Composed by Sumit Pathak with vocals by Meena Pokharel and Indrakala Rai, the lyrics were penned by Harka Saud. The song presents the voices of three generations of women living under one roof. The video captures the festivities on the eve of a wedding. As wedding preparations begin, Nisha Sharma, Usha Rajak, and Aanchal Sharma reflect on their respective life experiences through the song.

According to director Sahara Sharma, the voice expressed in the song is the essence of the film. She noted that working with lyricist Harka Saud was a collaborative process and recalled the challenge of capturing the film's narrative within the song.

The film, written by Sahara Sharma, features choreography by Kritika Baral, cinematography by Nihal Bhandari, and editing by Krishna Bhandari.

The film stars Aanchal Sharma, Nisha Sharma, Usha Rajak, Bhima Mainali, Asmita Gautam, Shekhar Chapagain, Manish Niraula, Sahayog Adhikari, Gaurav Bista, and Abiral Pratap Adhikari. Produced by Abhimanyu Dixit, the film's executive producer is Nikun Shrestha. The production team also includes Sara Fazilat, Samipya Raj Timalsena, and Anup Poudel. The film will be distributed in Nepal by RR Films.
