Nepal Falls to Laos in Final AFC Asian Cup Qualifier Match

Kathmandu. Nepal was defeated by Laos in the final match of the AFC Asian Cup qualifying tournament under Group 'F'.

Nepal lost by a score of 1-0 in the match held today at the National Stadium in Laos. Nepal, which defended until the first 'half' of the game, conceded a goal in the second 'half'. Laos captain Bounphachan Bounkong scored the goal in the 48th minute of the match.

Nepal tried hard to equalize but ultimately suffered a defeat. Nepal had already been eliminated from the Asian Cup qualifiers. Nepal managed to secure only three points from six matches in Group 'F'.
