Former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi Airs Property Dispute with Ex-Husband on Social Media

Former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi has publicly aired her family and property dispute with her ex-husband and media personality, GP Timalsina, on the social media platform Facebook.

She posted five consecutive statuses claiming she has been enduring continuous mental torture and abuse from her ex-husband, seeking justice.

According to Usha, the court has already ruled to divide their house into four parts. In one status, she clarified that there are four co-owners of the house, with 25% share each belonging to herself, her daughter, her son, and her ex-husband. However, she stated that ex-husband Timalsina is constantly pressuring and torturing her to vacate the house, claiming it is solely his. Expressing her anger over this issue in another status, she wrote, 'This coward tortures me to get out of this house. I am not leaving this house now; I will make you leave. You started it, I will finish it.'

In her third lengthy status, Usha exposed her ex-husband's behavior. She stated that after the divorce, her ex-husband remarried and continues to live in the same house, shamelessly using foul language towards her in front of their children.

She also mentioned that her ex-husband disturbs her when members of her maternal family or friends visit the house by speaking ill of various things. She said she was forced to speak out because the situation became unbearable, noting that she continues to face stress even while living in the house allotted to her by the court as her share.

She questioned the state's laws and security arrangements and demanded her rights and justice from the new government.

In her fourth status, Usha targeted her ex-husband's current wife, warning her to control her husband. Claiming her ex-husband interferes in her personal life and abuses her verbally, she made it clear that her next step would be to approach the police administration for peace and security.

Despite all this stress and struggle, in another status, she wrote, 'Single Mom and I Proud of Myself,' stating that she is standing strong for her children's rights.

Usha and GP were in a relationship since before she became Miss Nepal in 2000, and they had an inter-caste marriage.

They have one son and one daughter. Usha divorced Timalsina in 2076 BS, alleging continuous physical and mental torture during their 17-year marriage.

At that time too, she had released a crying video saying, 'Now I say no,' and stated that she would fight for her rights.
