DCC election on August 10 in Dadeldhura

Dadeldhura - The Office of the Chief Election Officer, Dadeldhura, has released the schedule for the election on August 10 meant for constitution of the District Coordination Committee (DCC).

Chief Election Officer Dev Kumar Giri said that the schedule to elect the nine-member committee was unveiled as per the agreement made in the first district assembly.

The nine-member committee shall comprise a chief, a deputy-chief, three women members, a member from Dalit or minority communities and three other members under the open category.

As per the election schedule, the final list of the voters would be published on August 5 while registration of the candidates' nomination would be held on August 6.

The Office said that the final name list of the candidates would be published and election symbol would be given to the candidates on August 8.
