Indian Worker Killed in Attack on Kuwaiti Power Plant Amid Rising West Asian Tensions

The Ministry of Electricity and Water of Kuwait provided this information through a statement on social media. According to the statement, an Iranian attack damaged an electricity and seawater desalination plant in Kuwait. The death of one Indian national due to the attack has been confirmed.

The ministry stated that the attack caused significant damage to the structure. However, it was also reported that technical teams were immediately deployed to keep essential services operational. Security in the region has become more sensitive following attacks on critical infrastructure such as energy and water supply. In this situation, Gulf countries, including Kuwait, have further tightened their security vigilance.
