Tractor Accident in Lamjung Claims One Life, Injures Two Others

Pokhara. One person has died in a tractor accident in Lamjung. The tractor, bearing registration number Ga 1 Ta 5646, was traveling from Khudi towards Bhalamchaur when it fell off the road on the internal road of Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-9, Pamchok, in the district.

Lamjung Police reported that the tractor driver, 33-year-old Sujan Rai, originally from Taplejung and working on the transmission line for Midim Hydropower, died in the accident. He succumbed to his severe injuries at the Provincial Hospital in Bensisahar.

Two people were injured in the accident. They have been identified as 32-year-old Dipesh Limbu and 26-year-old Suman Rai, both from Taplejung and also employed on the Midim Hydropower transmission line. Police stated that their condition is stable.
