Three Arrested in Connection with Death of Young Woman Found Burned in Banke

Banke. Three individuals have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the death of a young woman who was found burned in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-12, Koreanpur, and later died during treatment.

District Police Office Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Deepak Patali informed that three people, including one man and two women, were arrested today. He stated that although the victim's side named five individuals in the formal complaint, only three have been apprehended.

The young woman, who was found severely burned near Bheri Technical School in Koreanpur, Nepalgunj-12 last night, succumbed to her injuries during treatment at Bheri Hospital. Although her identity was initially unknown, DSP Patali shared that during the investigation, she was identified as 22-year-old Sirjana Budha Magar, a resident of Koreanpur, Nepalgunj-12.

Police have stated that further investigation is underway regarding the involvement of individuals other than those arrested.
