Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' Elected Parliamentary Party Leader of CPN-UML

Kathmandu. Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (CPN-UML), has been elected as the leader of the party's parliamentary group.

Party leader Yuvraj Dulal informed that the CPN-UML parliamentary group meeting held on Sunday unanimously selected Prachanda as the leader of the party's parliamentary group.

The party stated that the deputy leader will be selected later. In the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21, 17 CPN-UML lawmakers were elected.
