CPN-UML Submits Memorandums Across Nepal Demanding Release of Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli

Kathmandu. The CPN-UML has submitted memorandums to the District Administration Offices across the country demanding the release of party Chairman KP Sharma Oli. The CPN-UML District Committees submitted memorandums to the District Administration Offices in all 77 districts demanding Oli's release.

Following the police arrest of Chairman Oli from his residence on Saturday, citing findings by the Gauribahadur Karki Commission that held him responsible, the CPN-UML Secretariat meeting decided to protest the action and submit memorandums for his release. 

In Lalitpur and Kathmandu, the CPN-UML submitted memorandums to the administration offices accompanied by slogan rallies. During this process, CPN-UML leaders and cadres also staged a sit-in protest outside the administration offices.
