CPN-UML Submits Protest Letter Against Arrest of Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli

Kathmandu. The CPN-UML submitted a protest letter to the Kathmandu District Administration Office against the arrest of party Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The party submitted the protest letter today following the decision of the emergency secretariat meeting held on Saturday.

The party has a program today to submit protest letters to the District Administration Offices across the country. The party expressed its disagreement and opposition to the Gauribahadur Karki Commission formed to investigate the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24, demanding the formation of a high-level investigation commission for the incident.

Following discussions with the parties in parliament after Oli's arrest, the party has already assigned leaders including Bishnu Paudel, Ram Bahadur Thapa, and Gokul Bista the responsibility of coordinating a collective protest.
