GenZ Movement Nepal Welcomes Government Decision to Arrest KP Sharma Oli and Ramesh Lekhak

Kathmandu. The GenZ Movement Nepal has welcomed the government's decision to arrest UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and proceed with legal action. The organization welcomed the decision in a statement issued on Saturday.

Furthermore, the organization strongly demanded that the government immediately arrest the responsible individuals from the then Home Administration and security agencies involved in the incident and proceed with an impartial investigation and legal process.

The organization stated that it is aware of any conspiracy to protect those who suppressed the GenZ movement, warning that if such attempts are made, youths across the country will be forced to engage in a stronger and tougher struggle.

Police arrested Oli and Lekhak from Bhaktapur on Saturday morning.
