Two Killed in Separate Violent Incidents in Kapilvastu and Dang

Kathmandu. Two individuals have lost their lives in separate violent incidents in Kapilvastu and Dang. Police arrested 45-year-old Uday Adhikari on Thursday night on the charge of murdering 32-year-old Suman Chaudhary, a resident of Quarter Chowk, Banganga Municipality-1, Kapilvastu.

Chaudhary, who was seriously injured after being attacked with a Khurpa (machete) by Adhikari, died during treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal. Upon receiving information about the incident, a team deployed from the Pipara Area Police Office immediately arrested the accused, Adhikari.

Similarly, a man has been arrested in Dang on the allegation of murdering his own wife. 33-year-old Gopal Wali, a resident of Doghare, Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-19, allegedly beat his 27-year-old wife Kamala Wali to death.

Kamala died during treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur, after being seriously injured due to the brutal beating inflicted by Gopal during a domestic dispute. Upon receiving news that the assault on his wife was ongoing, the police team from the Tulsipur Area Police Office arrived and took Gopal into custody.

Police have stated that they are proceeding with legal procedures and conducting further necessary investigations regarding both incidents.
