New Home Minister Sudhan Gurung Directs Zero Tolerance Policy Against Corruption

Kathmandu. Newly appointed Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has directed the adoption of a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption.

After assuming office at the ministry on Friday, Minister Gurung, during a welcoming ceremony organized at the ministry, directed that service delivery be made easier while adopting a zero-tolerance policy against corruption. He stated that no one would be spared if corruption is proven.

He mentioned that he would work seriously in the interest of the nation for the next five years and that everyone's cooperation would be necessary for this. He stated that he came to lead the ministry to deliver results to the people and directed that arrangements be made for prompt service delivery through a single-window system. He mentioned that he would show results through work rather than words.

Minister Gurung also stated that no one has the liberty to refuse to implement government decisions.
