Rastriya Swatantra Party Senior Leader Balen Shah Appointed as Prime Minister

Kathmandu. Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balen Shah, has been appointed as the Prime Minister. Kiran Pokharel, the press advisor to the President's Office, informed that President Ramchandra Paudel appointed Shah as Prime Minister this morning.

Shah is taking the oath of office as Prime Minister today at an auspicious time. He is scheduled to take the oath of office as Prime Minister at 12:34 PM at the President's Office, Shital Niwas. A single government is being formed in accordance with Article 76 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.

Representatives from various political parties, diplomatic missions stationed here, civil society, and high-ranking government officials have been invited to attend the oath-taking ceremony. It is understood that ministers will also be sworn in along with the Prime Minister.
