Rastriya Swatantra Party Names Senior Leader Balen Shah as Parliamentary Party Leader

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) parliamentary party has appointed senior leader Balen Shah as its party leader.

General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti stated that the joint meeting of the Central Committee and the Parliamentary Party, held today at the central office in Vanasthali, decided to make Shah the party leader. Shah's appointment as party leader opens the path for him to become the Prime Minister.

Following this, Shah is scheduled to take the oath of office as Prime Minister tomorrow.
