Newly Elected Federal Parliament Members Take Oath of Office in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Newly elected members of the House of Representatives took the oath of office and secrecy on Thursday. Many of the lawmakers who arrived to participate in the oath-taking ceremony at the new building in Singha Durbar entered only after bowing down at the building's entrance.

Lawmakers including Jagdish Kharel and Deepak Sah entered the building only after bowing. They were administered the oath by the oldest member of the House of Representatives, Arjun Narsingh KC.
