Two Men Arrested in Kathmandu's Boudha Area with Heroin and Live Ammunition

Kathmandu. Police have arrested two young men with brown heroin from Arubari in Boudha, Kathmandu. Those arrested are 24-year-old Sunil Shanthal, whose home is in Jhapa but resides in Mahankal, and 29-year-old Sudip Banjara, whose home is in Melamchi, Sindhupalchok, but resides in Kapan.

District Police Range Kathmandu's SP Pawan Bhattarai told Ratopati that narcotics (brown heroin) and one live bullet (military round) were recovered from their possession. Police recovered 2.29 grams of brown heroin from Shanthal, who was arrested on Tuesday, and 10.51 grams of brown heroin from Banjara's rented room. SP Bhattarai stated that the live military round was found at Banjara's residence. Police Circle Boudha is investigating the accused.
