Nepali Congress Forms Election Committee for 15th General Convention

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has formed an election committee for conducting the 15th General Convention, with senior advocate and Central Committee member Prem Bahadur Khadka as the coordinator.

A meeting of the Central Working Committee held at the party headquarters in Sanepa decided to hold the party's 15th General Convention in Kathmandu on the upcoming dates of Ashoj 16, 17, and 18.

Although the tradition has been to form the election committee under the leadership of a legal professional to conduct the Congress General Convention, this time the committee formed from the special General Convention has appointed a Central Committee member as the coordinator. Coordinator Khadka was elected as an open central member from the special General Convention held last Poush.

Leaders stated that the members of the committee have not yet been finalized.
