Nepali Congress Central Working Committee Meeting Commences to Discuss 11 Proposals

Kathmandu. The meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee began today. Discussions are underway on various 11 proposals in the meeting held at the party's central office, BP Smriti Bhawan, Lalitpur.

In the meeting chaired by Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa, General Secretary Pradeep Paudel presented 11 proposals. Discussions were held regarding contemporary issues, establishing good governance, forming a committee of experts for studying and suggesting constitutional amendments, the schedule for the party's 15th General Convention, and the formation of the Central Election Committee.

Furthermore, discussions covered orientation for members of the House of Representatives, a special campaign for the distribution and updating of active membership, review, coordination, and further effectiveness of provincial and local governments, matters concerning sister organizations, well-wisher organizations, and public relations committees, the formation of the Central Accounts Committee, and various other topics, informed Acting Chief Secretary of the Nepali Congress Central Office, Krishna Prasad Dulal.

During today's meeting, Central Committee members Dr. Gopal Dahit, Taramana Gurung, Maikulal Balmiki, Ajaybabu Shiwakoti, Bharatkumar Shah, Sudhir Shiwakoti, Shambhulal Shrestha, Narendra Kumar Kerung, Resham Bahadur Waniya, Jitanarayan Shrestha, Ramesh Dhamala, Deepankumar Shrestha, Basanta Bhattarai, Janakraj Giri, Shambhubahadur Budhathoki, Tirtha Jung Shahi, and Tekraj Poudel shared their views.  

Similarly, Keshavraj Sharma Acharya, Rambahadur Karki, Narayanprasad Bhattarai, Shivabahadur Sunar, Suryabahadur Bik, Dinesh Sunar, Chhandabahadur Pahari, Jagadishchandra Upadhyaya, Rambaltan Sah, Madhes Province President Krishnaprasad Yadav, and Bagmati Province President Indrabahadur Baniya also expressed their respective views.  

Since the process of sharing views is continuing in today's meeting, the next meeting of the Central Working Committee will reconvene tomorrow at 11:00 AM at the party's central office, stated Acting Chief Secretary Dulal.
