Beauty Entrepreneur Sushma Maharjan Announces Candidacy for FNCCI Executive Member Post

Kathmandu. Senior beautician Sushma Maharjan is set to contest for the post of Executive Member from the district level in the upcoming election of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).

Maharjan, who has been active in the beauty and service sector for a long time, has been providing direct employment to over 300 women by expanding unisex beauty salons nationwide through the 'Facial House' brand.

Maharjan, who successfully completed the responsibility of Treasurer at the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kathmandu (NCICCK), is currently active in the important role of Secretary. 

Announcing her candidacy, Maharjan put forward the main slogan, 'Foundation of Strong Women Leadership and Entrepreneurship'. She stated that expanding women's participation, strengthening Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and formalizing the service sector will be her primary agenda.

The new leadership will be elected through the 60th Annual General Meeting of the Federation to be held on the upcoming 29th and 30th.
