National Weather Forecast Indicates Rising Temperatures Across Nepal

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that temperatures are on an increasing trend across the country. The department mentioned rising temperatures while providing the temperature forecast details for various major cities in the nation.

According to the department's data, the maximum temperature in the federal capital Kathmandu is estimated to be between 20 to 22 degrees Celsius in the afternoon and the minimum temperature at night is expected to be between 10 to 12 degrees Celsius today.

Bhairahawa appears to be the hottest city in the country today, where the maximum temperature could reach 31 to 33 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the maximum temperature in Nepalgunj and Simara is forecasted to be between 30 to 32 degrees Celsius.

Jomsom will experience the coldest conditions today, with the minimum night temperature estimated to drop to between zero and 2 degrees Celsius. Jiri will have a minimum temperature of 3-5 degrees, and Jumla will have a minimum temperature of 4-6 degrees Celsius.
