Indian National Dies After Drowning in Tinau River in Palpa

Palpa. An Indian national has died after drowning in the Tinau River in Palpa. The body of one of the two Indians who went missing while bathing on Sunday afternoon has been recovered. Police stated that the search operation for the other person is ongoing.

According to the District Police Office, Palpa, two people out of seven who had come from India for tourism went missing after being swept away while bathing in the river at Tinau Rural Municipality-3 around 2 PM on Sunday.

DSP Hombahadur Chaudhary of the District Police Office, Palpa informed that the body of one person was found about 100 meters downstream from the drowning spot around 10:30 AM on Monday morning.

According to the police, the missing individuals are youths from the Sant Kabir Nagar area of Uttar Pradesh, India. Police stated that the search operation for the other missing youth is continuing.
