Weather Department Forecasts Temperatures for Major Cities on Monday

Kathmandu. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has published the temperature forecast for the country's major cities for Monday. According to the details, the maximum temperature in Biratnagar, Janakpur, Simara, Nepalgunj, and Dhangadhi is expected to reach between 28 to 30 degrees Celsius today.

The forecast for the tourist city of Pokhara is a maximum temperature between 22 to 24 degrees Celsius.

Likewise, the minimum temperature in Jomsom will be between 1 to 3 degrees Celsius, and in Jiri, it will be between 3 to 5 degrees Celsius. The department stated that the minimum temperature in Jumla will be between 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.

Furthermore, temperatures in Dharan and Bhairahawa will also reach up to 29 degrees Celsius, while hilly districts like Okhaldhunga and Taplejung will experience relatively cooler weather, the department stated.
