Students Protest at Birgunj Campus After Internal Dispute Halts Class 12 Exams

Parsa. Students at Harit Khetan Multiple Campus in Birgunj Metropolitan City-10 protested today. Students staged a sit-in at the campus gate, alleging that the Class 12 examination was postponed due to an internal conflict between the campus administration and teachers.

Students had arrived at the campus on Sunday morning for the Class 12 pre-board examination. Although students were present in the examination hall ready for the test, the teachers were absent.

According to a campus teacher who requested anonymity, the examination was stopped due to a dispute between the administration and teachers that has been ongoing for a few days. The teachers at the campus have complained about not receiving salaries for a long time.

It is reported that students became agitated after being deprived of taking the examination, despite having entered the hall, due to the internal dispute at the campus.

Campus Chief Rabindra Yadav evaded repeated attempts to speak with him regarding the matter, stating that he would 'not say anything to the media at this time.'
