Activist Demands Public Release of Investigation Report on Protest Incidents

Kathmandu. Rakshya Bam, coordinator of the Nepal Gen-Z Front, has once again drawn the attention of Prime Minister Sushila Karki to publicly release the fact-finding investigation report regarding incidents that occurred during the protests. Addressing the Prime Minister via social media, she demanded answers to the serious allegations leveled against her and youths like her by making the report public.

While thanking the Prime Minister for taking the leadership of the country during a complex situation and completing the elections, she expressed concern over the abuse faced by youths on the streets and social media at present.

Activist Bam stated that she has been facing mental and social pressure due to the allegations against her. She wrote, 'Prime Minister, I want to know if there is blood on my hands. Did I burn Singha Durbar, and am I being manipulated by someone? I also want to know the answers to all these questions.'

Stating that she has been enduring insulting behavior and accusations in Facebook inboxes and comments since the beginning, she mentioned that personal clarifications are no longer sufficient. Her argument is that the voices of the victims must be loud and addressed in a timely manner.
