Roshi River Water Floods Section of BP Highway in Kavre, Causing Blockage

Kavre. The BP Highway has been obstructed after water from the Roshi River flooded the road. Around 3:30 AM on Saturday, the Roshi River water entered the road at several locations in the Roshi Rural Municipality section of the BP Highway in Kavre.

The road blockage occurred in Charsayabesi, Gimdi, Baunne, and Kalidunga in Kavre due to the ingress of Roshi River water. The District Police Office, Kavre, stated that the continuous rainfall caused the water flow of the Roshi River to reach the road, completely obstructing the BP Highway.

Police have informed that efforts are underway to clear the road in coordination with the relevant agencies at the affected locations. The District Traffic Office, Kavre, has urged travelers to check the road conditions before commencing their journey.
