Gandaki Province Assembly Winter Session to Commence on Chaitra 8

Pokhara. The winter session of the Gandaki Province Assembly is scheduled to convene starting Sunday, Chaitra 8. The Council of Ministers had recommended the Province Chief to summon the session. Province Chief Dilliraj Bhatta has already called for the session.

The Provincial Assembly meeting will take place at the hall of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives in Malepatan. The Secretariat of the Gandaki Provincial Assembly issued a notice providing information about the meeting. Meetings were previously held at this same location.

The Provincial Assembly building in Nadipur was gutted during the recent 'Janjati Andolan' (People's Movement), forcing the assembly to meet in a cramped space. The Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly has been relocated to the building housing the Directorate of Livestock and Fisheries Development. Committee meetings have been taking place from that office as well.
