Federal Parliament Secretariat Schedules Oath Ceremony for Newly Elected Members of House of Representatives on Chaitra 12

The Federal Parliament Secretariat has prepared for the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected members of the House of Representatives on the upcoming Chaitra 12. The Secretariat issued a notice urging attendance for the oath ceremony at 2:00 PM next Thursday. 

According to the Secretariat, the oath-taking program will take place in the multipurpose hall of the under-construction Federal Parliament Building in Singha Durbar. Elected members must be present 2 hours before the start of the program for the oath-taking. 

The notice states that attendees must bring the original and a copy of the certificate of election as a member of the House of Representatives received from the Election Commission, a copy of their Nepali citizenship certificate, and two recent passport-size photographs.

The Secretariat has requested members to attend in formal attire or national attire reflecting their cultural identity. 

Furthermore, special arrangements have been made for members wishing to take the oath in their mother tongue other than Nepali. Such members must provide a translated copy of the oath text in their mother tongue to the Parliament Secretariat's Member Facilities Management Branch three days prior to the oath ceremony.

This notice, issued by the Secretary-General of the Secretariat, Padam Prasad Pandey, also requests all District Administration Offices to coordinate in informing the elected members of their respective districts about this matter.
