Man Arrested in Bhaktapur for Allegedly Assaulting Two Vloggers on Nagarkot Road

Kathmandu. Police have arrested one person on charges of assaulting two vloggers on the road leading to Nagarkot in Bhaktapur.

The arrested individual is 41-year-old Ganesh Bahadur Tamang, a resident of Nagarkot, Ward No. 6, Changu Narayan Municipality. SSP Santosh Khadka of the Valley Crime Investigation Office told Ratopati that he was arrested from Bhaktapur on Thursday.

A video showing Tamang assaulting two vloggers following a dispute over overtaking on the Nagarkot road has gone viral on social media. Following the circulation of the video showing the assault and use of abusive language against the vloggers, the police initiated an investigation into the matter. Police are currently investigating the incident.
