Nepali Congress Leader KC, UML Vice-Chairman Thapa Absent from Proportional Representation Certificate Distribution

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader Arjun Narsingh KC and UML Vice-Chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal were absent from the program to receive certificates for proportional representation members scheduled for Thursday by the Election Commission.

 Although other proportional representation members reached the Election Commission and received their certificates, these two members remained absent. 

KC is also the senior-most member of the House of Representatives. Leader KC stated that he could not attend due to being busy with work. 'I was out for a program. That is why I could not go. My representative has collected the certificate,' he said. 

Similarly, the reason for leader Thapa Badal's absence was not disclosed. He could not be reached when contacted.
