Pauwadungma Rural Municipality to Provide Relief to Families Affected by Recent Storms

Bhojpur. The Pauwadungma Rural Municipality in Bhojpur has decided to provide relief to families who suffered damages due to the recent strong winds and storm.

Rural Municipality Chairman Kiran Rai informed that after conducting an on-site inspection of the affected families from the storm that hit on the evening of Chaitra 2, the municipality decided to distribute relief at a rate of NPR 20,000 per family.

According to him, the decision to provide relief at NPR 20,000 per family was made after an on-site inspection, considering the condition of the affected families. "It is our duty to immediately assist citizens facing problems due to natural disasters," said Chairman Rai, adding, "Relief distribution is being expedited along with the collection of damage details."

The Chief Administrative Officer of the Rural Municipality, Navin Bhattarai, stated that the houses of nine families were damaged due to the storm and informed that all those families would be provided with relief.

Houses with temporary structures and tin roofs were the most affected by the storm.
