Snowfall Returns to High-Altitude Regions of Bajura District

Bajura. Rainfall accompanied by snowfall has occurred in the high-altitude regions of Bajura since last night. Snowfall with rain had also occurred in the district's high-altitude areas after the second week of Magh.

Farmers here are happy following the rainfall and snowfall. Snowfall has occurred in the high-altitude areas and villages of Badimalika, Budhiganga, Triveni, Budhinanda municipalities, and Himali, Khaptad Chhededaha, Gaumul, Swamikartik, Jagannath rural municipalities. Localities such as Bichhya, Rugin, Bandhu in Himali, Amlis, Dahakot in Gaumul, and Kuru, Pandusain in Budhinanda, and others in Khaptad Chhededaha have been most affected by the snowfall.

Jashiram Sahani, head of the Agriculture Knowledge Center, stated that the snowfall with rain will be beneficial for the crops.

Meanwhile, the Division Forest Office has urged against poaching of wildlife and wild animals. Subaschandra Ayadi, information officer for the office, stated that legal action will be taken according to the Forest Act if wildlife poaching occurs.
