One Dead in Collision Between Pickup Truck and Scooter on Siddhartha Highway in Palpa

Palpa. One person has died in a vehicle accident on the Siddhartha Highway at Rokadanda in Bagnaskali Rural Municipality-2. District Police Office Police Inspector Kusal Singh Thakuri informed that the scooter driver, 36-year-old Khileshwar Gharti Magar from Mathagadhi Rural Municipality-1, died when a pickup jeep and a scooter collided with each other.

According to Thakuri, Magar was seriously injured when the pickup jeep with license plate Lu 1 Cha 3740 coming from Aryabhanjyang towards Bartung collided with the scooter with license plate Lu 84 Pa 4348 coming from the opposite direction. He died during treatment at Lumbini Medical College Prabhas.

The District Police Office stated that the police have taken the jeep driver into custody and are investigating. The deceased Magar was currently residing in Sukhanagar, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-8.
